Indian Team Orange Jersey 2019: Nike reveals India's away jersey for 2019 Cricket World Cup

Indian Team Orange Jersey 2019: Indian cricket team’s much-awaited away jersey for 2019 Cricket World Cup has been revealed.

The much-awaited away jersey of the Indian cricket team for the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has finally been revealed by manufacturing company Nike.

The ongoing showpiece tournament is the first one in cricket where the concept of away jerseys has started. South Africa have been seen donning their away jersey earlier in the tournament.

India will wear their away jersey during their match against England on June 30 at Edgbaston. The reason for the same is that both the teams wear blue jerseys. Since England are hosting the tournament, it will be a home match for them with India playing as the away team.

Talking about the jersey, it is in contrast with the current jersey which sees the colour blue in majority. The new away jersey has the colour orange in majority with blue on the front of the jersey. The jersey looks a tad similar to what India wore during the 2009-2010 period.

With England losing their last match against Australia, the match against India has become crucial for them. With four wins in seven matches, England are currently at No. 4 in the tournament. Another loss for them will put their plans of qualifying for the semi-finals in doldrums.
