Two franchises that probably boast of the largest fan bases in the nation take on each other in a direct battle between bat and ball. KKR have always relied on their bowling attcack to restrict oppositions to paltry scores in the first innings, or to choke the chasing team during the second innings. RCB on the other hand have gone the batting way. The two best batsmen in the world, combined with a T20 legend, RCB back themselves to outscore the opponent(something that hasn’t quite worked for them over the seasons).
Gautam Gambhir will be looking to strangle the RCB batting line up with slow bowling. RCB on other hand will be buoyed by the return of ABD and will feel confident of Virat-ABD dealing with any and every challenge thrown their way by the shrewd Gambhir. Badree too could be drafted into the XI.
KKR have experimented with Narine at the top of the order and it was worked wonders for them until now. His dominance at the top of the order has made KKR fans forget all about Lynn’s absence, something that you couldn’t have imagined after Lynn suffered that horrific shoulder injury.
The RCB batting line up needs to fire today, that is their only chance of breaching KKRs fortress. The Eden could be in for a Virat-ABD treat today.
Let’s get to business now!

IPL Fantasy League
Transfer out: Manan Vohra, Suresh Raina, Chris Morris
Transfer in: Iqbal Abdulla, Virat Kohli, ABD
Now, I already have Manish Pandey and Kuldeep Yadav in my team for this game.
Virat and ABD will be the first two players that I get in for this game. The good players find a way to come back, the great players definitely find a way to come back.
In a world full of mere mortals, fighting their way to get to the top, these super humans sail through with ease. While it would seem unfair to the ‘average’ player, as Fantasy owners all you should do is get them in and milk it. Get them in, it is mandatory in the Fantasy World.
With RCB playing 3 matches in 5 days, it would make sense to get in another one of their players, but do not bring in any of their overseas players as they might chop and change a little too much over these 3 games. Yuzi Chahal seems like the ideal choice. He will feature in all three games and is bound to give you a return of at least 150 points. Get him in.
While KKRs lineup will pose a threat to this dynamic duo, they are the best in the world for a reason, and I expect them to come good tonight as well.
From the KKR side I think I already have all my bases covered, with Pandey and Kuldeep featuring in my side. Gambhir’s form has been hot and cold and Tyml Mills/Adam Milne might just clean him up. Manish Pandey seems like a safer bet. If you have to bring in one from Gambhir and Pandey, I would suggest getting in Pandey.
For the uncapped player, I’ll get in one from Suryakumar Yadav and Iqbal Abdulla. Abdulla will be first in preference order, but I am not sure if he will play. If he does, get him in , as Surya comes way too down the order to make any sort of impact in the game.
Captain: Virat Kohli(If RCB bat second)/ABD(if RCB bat first)

Now, I already have Manish Pandey and Kuldeep Yadav in my team for this game!
I’ll be bringing in the Virat and ABD into my side, without even giving it a second thought. Again, it is mandatory in the Fantasy World.
I’ll be getting in one more RCB player in my side as they play 3 games in the space of 5 days. Yuzi Chahal is the obvious choice as he is certain to give me a return of at least 150 points.
Batting Star: Virat(if RCB bat second)/ABD(if RCB bat first)
Bowling Star: Yuzi Chahal/Kuldeep Yadav(whoever bowls first)
