CSK are coming back after a good rest of 6 days from their previous match against RCB,this time they are taking the bottom placed team in the form of RR.

CSK will be looking to consolidate with their 2nd position on the points table with the SRH almost sure of the top spot for the league matches.
OPENERS:
Shane Watson
Shane Watson has performed decently in the matches he has played so far. Watson is a definite choice in the Playing XI and he will open the innings along with Rayadu.
Watson scored a fantastic hundred in the previous match against RR and will be looking to continue the rich vein of form.
Ambati Rayadu
Ambati Rayudu has been the perfect foil to Watson in the power play overs where he rotates the strike and keeps the scoreboard ticking, his main role would be to allow big hitters to perform around him. He is in top 5 run getters in the Vivo IPL 2018.
MIDDLE ORDER:
Suresh Raina
Raina has not been that consistent in this year’s IPL as he has been over the years, the team management will be hoping that he finds his forms before the Semi Finals of the tournament.
MS Dhoni (Captain)
MSD remained not out in the last match against RCB and played the role of the finisher to perfection,he will continue to play in the middle order for his team and finish off matches.
Dhruv Shorey
Shorey was brought in so that CSK could play an extra pacer in the form of David Wiley.Shorey will look to perform well as this could provide a well needed balance required for the end stage of the tournament.
ALL-ROUNDERS:
Ravindra Jadeja
Probably the best game of this year’s IPL for Jadeja in the previous match, when he picked up 4 wickets, also dismissing Virat Kohli in the process. His consistent bowling of 4 overs will also take a lot of pressure off other bowlers in the line up.
Dwayne Bravo
Bravo is a vital cog in the CSK team as he plays both the role of a finisher with the ball and the bat. His bowling performances over the past couple of matches have not been that great.
BOWLERS:
David Wiley
He had a pretty impressive game in his first match of this year’s IPL. He can tonk the ball a long way in the final overs and can get the new cherry to swing in the initial overs thus providing important breakthroughs.
Imran Tahir
Imran Tahir has performed well with the ball by picking up vital wickets during the match and breaking the flow of the opposition. With two Englishmen in the form of Jos Butler and Ben Stokes, Tahir will be an important bowler for the CSK team.
Harbhajan Singh
With the pitch in Jaipur assisting the spinners, Harbhajan’s guile will come in handy during the middle overs of the RR innings. He will look to continue his good form after picking up couple of wickets in his last match.
Shardul Thakur
He will look to continue with his good form allowing MSD to continue giving the youngster to prove his mettle against class opposition.
