IPL 2018 Fantasy Guide: Fantasy Tips for CSK vs KXIP

The last game of the league stage and the final playoff spot still seems to be up for grabs.

Kings XI started the tournament on a high, winning 5 of their first 6 games, but they then suffered a huge slump after their 7 day-long break.

They have now lost 6 of their last 7 games and now look almost certain to exit IPL 2018. They will need to win their last game by a comprehensive margin in order to have any chance of making it to the playoffs.

CSK will be using this game as an opportunity to get their lost momentum back as they would want to go into the playoffs with a win under their belt.

IPL Fantasy League(Fantasy Tips for CSK vs KXIP)

Now, I already have Ambati Rayudu in my side for this game.

KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Andrew Tye and Shane Watson are in my consideration set for this game.

Andrew Tye has been brilliant with the ball for Kings XI this season and is the safest choice from this game, as he is sure to get a few wickets at the death.

KL Rahul is the safest choice from a batting perspective as he has been in fine form for KXIP at the top of the order.

Now, if you can bring in only from Tye and Rahul, get in Tye if KXIP bowl first and Rahul if KXIP bat first.

Chris Gayle could prove to be a massive differentiating factor, if you can get him in, but do so, only if you can bring in at least one from Tye and Rahul.

Shane Watson’s form has tapered off in the last few games and I expect him to be dismissed by the spin tonight.

Verdict: Get in one from Tye and Rahul, if you have just 1 transfer remaining. If you have two, get in both and if you have 3, get Tye, Rahul and Gayle in.

For the uncapped player, I get in Deepak Chahar.
