IPL 2018 Fantasy Guide: Fantasy Tips for CSK vs SRH

It’s a top of the table clash in the IPL and it promises to be a very exciting encounter as CSK need a win ensure qualification into the playoffs.

SRH are the first team to get there this season and might opt to test their bench strength a little today. However, they will be wary of the fact that momentum plays a huge role in a tournament like this and they would want to keep their winning streak going as the playoffs loom large.

CSK have been tantalisingly poor with the ball in hand and MS Dhoni would have taken these couple of days to communicate to his bowlers what exactly is expected of them.

Dhoni was visibly frustrated by how the CSK bowling unit bowled in the last game, especially at the death where they erred in length on multiple occasions.

In the last game played at Pune, we saw low scoring affair between CSK and RCB and you could expect something similar today as well, considering that too was a day game.

Hence you need to get in a few bowlers in order to get those important points today.

Rashid Khan seems like the best option as CSK have 5 right handers in their top 6 and he could bamboozle them with his trickery.

Kane Williamson is another safe choice for this game, but I expect Rashid to give me more points with the ball considering the slowness of the surface. Williamson might struggle for timing on the sluggish track and hence wouldn’t be able to score with the strike rate that he has been this season.

Shane Watson could be a good choice considering that his bowling could come good on this surface.

For the uncapped player, I would get in Ishan Kishan from the MI vs RR game, as I already have Siddharth Kaul in my side for the afternoon fixture.

Rashid Khan would be my first pick for the game, reasons for which are already given in the IPL Fantasy League section.

Now, considering the paucity of transfers, I will be able to get only one from Williamson and Dhawan.

While Williamson is the safer option, I will go with Dhawan, as he looked in sublime touch in the last game, and if he does carry on from there, he could go really big tonight as well(and at a superior striker rate).
