KKR have had a long break and would be rejuvenated after the first half of their campaign. They find themselves in the playoff mix and a win against the reeling Delhi franchise would provide them with a massive impetus whilst chasing that playoff spot.

The last time we did a build up for the KKR-DD encounter, most of the pre match talk revolved around Gambhir returning ‘home’ to the franchise he so admirably took to the top.
Now, when that franchise is coming to Gambhir’s ‘real home’, he wouldn’t be the first one to welcome them there.
Gambhir resigned from DD’s captaincy a couple of days back and Shreyas Iyer will be leading the franchise until the end of the season.
The former Indian batsman felt that he was probably not the best man for the job and that DD could be doing so much better under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer.
Gambhir will however still be available for selection and it would be interesting to see if the DD think tank pick him for tonight’s must win encounter against KKR.
KKR will look to take advantage of his unrest in the DD dressing room and get their campaign back on track after a long rest.

Transfer out: Andrew Tye, Siddharth Kaul

Now, I don’t have any players from this game in my side.
Also, I brought in Andrew Tye into my team yesterday as KXIP were bowling first and played the 2x multiplier. While bringing in Tye didn’t quite pay off, the 2x multiplier propelled me to the 42nd spot on the World/India leaderboard.
Hopefully we can all end up in the Top 100 this season.
When it comes to KKR, Sunil Narine becomes the obvious first choice, as he bowls his full quota of 4 overs(out of which at least one is during the death) and opens the batting for the franchise.
It’s very difficult to overlook such all-round abilities and hence you should draft him in right away.
Delhi do have a very good team, but at the moment they are too stifled to bank on and hence I leave out any and every player from their team for this game.
Rishabh Pant would be the safest option, followed by maybe Glenn Maxwell, who does get to bowl 2 overs of spin.
If you want to get in one player from Delhi, get in one from Pant or Maxwell.
I leave out Andre Russell, because his apparent hamstring injury means that he won’t be bowling in today’s game, hence lowering his ‘impact potential’.
For the uncapped player, I get in Nitish Rana, who has been brilliant for KKR with both bat and ball.
If you already have Rana in your side, I suggest you get in Avesh Khan, who bamboozled the batsmen with his pace in the last game.

Nitish Rana would be the 2nd and last player that I get into my side for this game, again for reasons already mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section.
