KKR and SRH are under new leadership this time round, albeit for different reasons, but it seems like both franchises are coming to terms with the different natures of the new captains.

Gautam Gambhir and David Warner were expressive captains, leaders who seemed agressive on the field with every movement of theirs. Kane Williamson and Dinesh Karthik are different. The intensity isn’t quite available for everyone to see as the duo try and maintain a calm demeanour while operating on the field.
Now, Williamson is an International captain who has a few strategies in place while captaining SRH. Karthik on the other hand has very little captaincy experience and thus would take some time to grow into the role.
But will KKR suffer because of it? From the looks of it, they might, as Karthik’s bowling changes haven’t really been spot on.
Vinay Kumar’s selection and the fact that he was called on to bowl the first and the final overs in both KKR games give the impression that Karthik hasn’t really been able to figure things out at the helm of affairs for KKR.
Let’s get to business now!
IPL Fantasy League(Fantasy Tips for KKR vs SRH)
Transfer out: Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mayank Markande, Rishabh Pant
Transfer in: Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Rashid Khan, Rahul Tripathi
Now, I already have Shikhar Dhawan and Siddharth Kaul in my side for this game.
Delhi’s bizarre team selections make me wonder if it is infact Ricky Ponting at the helm of affairs at DD.
Munro hadn’t done much wrong in his first two games, as he was run out in the second game without facing a ball. Replacing him with Roy so early on in the season seams like a knee-jerk reaction.
Morris too has been left out but I feel there is a rational explanation(maybe an injury) to it.
With KKR opting to use Sunil Narine as an opener, you have to take notice of his ‘impact potential’, as he is sure to bowl his full quota of 4 overs.
While the SRH bowling is good enough, with KKR playing twice in four games and you can’t leave out a player who has dual scoring opportunities and is of the highest quality.
Andre Russell had a brilliant outing in the last game against CSK, blistering away to a score of 80+ in lightning quick time.
However, Russell hasn’t really bowled his full quota of overs in the first two games and has bowled just the solitary over at the death, hence I get him in only if KKR bat first, as I fear that he might not get too much time in the middle if KKR bat second.
Russell is a batting all-rounder and thus you need to draft him in only if suits his strong suit of batting.
Rashid Khan would be the last player that I get into my side for this game. He has been extremely miserly in the first two games, bowling 18 dots in the last game.
The Afghan bowler will in all probability spin a web around that inexperienced KKR batting line-up. Get him in!
For the uncapped player, I get in Rahul Tripathi from the next game as my team combination forces me to go in for a batsman and there is no uncapped batsman from KKR and SRH that can be drafted in.
Match Powerplayer: Sunil Narine
2nd innings powerplayer: Shikhar Dhawan(if SRH bat second)/Rashid Khan(if SRH bowl second)
Fandromeda(Fantasy Tips for KKR vs SRH)
Transfer out: Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul
Transfer in: Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Rashid Khan, Shikhar Dhawan
Now, I already have Kuldeep Yadav in my team for this game.
I bring in exactly the same players as I do in my IPL Fantasy League.
Shikhar Dhawan who was already there in my IPL Fantasy League will need to be drafted in here as he has been in sublime form all through the season for India and in the first two matches for SRH.
Batting Powerplayer: Shikhar Dhawan
Bowling Powerplayer: Sunil Narine/Rashid Khan(whoever bowls first)
