Fantasy Tips for KXIP vs CSK

With all the drama that has transpired with the Chennai franchise this year, they will be hoping that tonight is all smooth sailing.

Two wins from the jaws of defeat and you would assume that CSK would be cloud 9, but they have been rattled, as CSK have been forced to move out of their comfort zone at the Chepauk and have also been dealt with an injury blow to Suresh Raina.

The CSK think tank would now want to do way with all the stuff that has been going on off the field and get back to playing some cricket.

Kings XI have started IPL 2018 on a very confident note, performing decently well in both their games but coming out short against a spirited RCB side at the Chinnaswamy.

Let’s get to business now!

IPL Fantasy League(Fantasy Tips for RCB vs RR)

Transfer out: Ben Stokes, Rahul Tripathi

Transfer in: Shane Watson, Mayank Agarwal

Now, I already have KL Rahul in my side for this game.

Dwayne Bravo, Aaron Finch, Shane Watson are the players in my consideration set for this game.

Shane Watson is the first player that I get in my side for this game. Opening the batting and getting to bowl at least 3 overs in game, Watson is quickly becoming a Fantasy world darling.

He has scored 58 runs in the the tournament and has taken 4 wickets in 2 games.

Get him in for sure.

Finch is still finding his feet in the tournament and thus I wouldn’t transfer him in until he looks settled enough.

Tye and Bravo would operate during the death and could help us out with a few cheap wickets. Between them, I would suggest get in whoever bowls first.

While you may argue that Bravo could be useful with the bat in the lower order, he was sent in after Jadeja last time round and hence I wouldn’t bank too much on his batting skills.

Thus, get in Tye, if he bowls first, else get in Bravo.

However, if there is a paucity of transfers I would suggest you just bring in Watson and save the transfer.

Do you get in Mujeeb? I think we should. The CSK middle order can have a difficult time rotating the strike and might end up holing out to the young Afghan.

He dismissed the great Virat Kohli last time round, he deserves to be brought in for that alone.

However, due to my current team combination I won’t be able to get him in. But do so if you can.

For the uncapped player, I get in Mayank Agarwal instead of Rahul Tripathi. Mayank has been in excellent touch over the domestic season in India and has sort of carried on that form into the IPL as well.

Shane Watson would be the first player that I get in for this game, reasons for which are already mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section.

KL Rahul has been in brilliant form this season and deserves a long run in your side. He is fighting for a place in the Indian side and is sure to be at his best all through the season.

Now, in order to get Rahul into my side, I will need to transfer out a bowler, one to free up some money and two to get the team combination right.

Andrew Tye is a good buy, as he sure to bowl the majority of his overs at the death, and could get away with a few cheap wickets.

Batting Powerplayer: KL Rahul

Bowling Powerplayer: Mujeeb
