Fantasy Tips for RCB vs KKR

Sunday nights at the Chinnaswamy can be very entertaining and especially when two heavy weights take each other on.

KKR are visiting Bengaluru tonight and with the firepower that they have in their shed, it promises to be a mouth watering encounter.

RCB are looking for that one break, that one little momentum shift that can put their campaign back on track and get them into that playoff mix.

Their batting has been doing the job, with QDK, Kohli and ABD coming to the party regularly and helping RCB put respectable runs on the board.

It’s their death bowling that has been the issue and if they don’t sort it out by bringing in a proven death bowler in Southee tonight, their batsmen will have to work overtime to get their team over the line.

KKR too have seen a slight slump in form and will want to turn things around as quickly as possible before things get out of hand.

Let’s get to business now!

IPL Fantasy League(Fantasy Tips for RCB vs KKR)

Now, I already have Virat Kohli and Sunil Narine in my side for this game.

AB de Villiers would be the first player that I get into my side for this game. He has been used at number 3 and number 4 during this IPL and has teed off on multiple occasions. On a sunday night in Bangalore, leave him out at your own risk.

Also, RCB are set to play 2 games at home in 3 days and hence you cannot use any kind of logic to leave ABD out.

Now, QDK could be a smart buy here, again considering that he too will play twice in three games and that too at home.

The only thing of concern is if RCB even have the slightest thought of playing BMac instead of QDK. That is the only risk that need to take, and if you are prepared to take that, get him in.

Chris Lynn and Andre Russell could be good buys for this game as well, especially considering the short boundaries at the Chinnaswamy and the rather meek RCB bowling unit.

The fact that Russell doesn’t bowl his full quota of overs is a concern along with the fact that he comes into bat at number 6. Yes, he could tee off on his day, but I wouldn’t back on 4 wickets falling before he comes out to bat and hence I leave him out.

Now, Chris Lynn could be a better option, as he bats at the top of the order and could go big against the RCB bowling unit. For me, I can bring in only one from QDK and Lynn, as my other foreign players play either today or tomorrow.

QDK seems like the better option at this stage as he’ll play twice in three games and hence I stick with him.

For the uncapped player, I’ll bring in Nitish Rana, but if you can’t because of cost or team combination issues, get in Manan Vohra.

I won’t be able to tell you my exact team at the moment because the IPL Fantasy League won’t let me edit my team until the start of the second innings of the ongoing game between RR and SRH.

Now, I already have Sunil Narine and Nitish Rana in my side for this game.

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers would be the first players that I get into my side for this game, for reasons already mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section.

I’ll try and stack my team up with RCB players, as two games in three days on that RCB track could fetch me a lot of times.

Hence, I’ll get in QDK, again for the reasons mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section and also draft in Umesh Yadav who has been brilliant with the ball.

In order to do this though, I have had to do away with Dwayne Bravo, who plays tomorrow, but with RCB’s 2 matches in 3 games, I think it is worth the sacrifice and the risk.
