Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) meet each other in the fifth game of the IPL 2019.

Both Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings made a good start to the new season of the IPL.

The sides registered convincing victories over Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore respectively. While Rishabh Pant shined for the Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium, spinners ran riot over RCB in the first game of the season.

DC and CSK will meet each other at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium, as both aim to build on the brilliant start to the season.

The last time the two sides met in the IPL, Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils) registered a stunning victory over Dhoni’s men. Let’s take a look at the Head to Head stats between the two sides.

DC vs CSK Head to Head statistics:

Shikhar Dhawan, Colin Ingram and Rishabh Pant all played a crucial role in Delhi’s first game against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.

In the bowling department, Trent Boult and Kagiso Rabada were equally efficient for the side.

On the other hand, while the game against RCB wasn’t a real test of CSK’s batting lineup, the side’s spinners wreaked havoc over Bangalore. The pitch assisted the spinners, yes, but MS Dhoni must be impressed with the bowling effort from the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja and Imran Tahir.
