For a squad as blessed with world class performers as Real Madrid, it is safe to say this season has not gone the way Zinedine Zidane would have expected from his team.

After securing a historic double last season, Real Madrid have disappointed this year, with their league form a real cause for concern.

Languishing at fourth place, Real Madrid cannot afford any more slip ups if they wish to retain their La Liga title. Things did not go smoothly on the European stage either, as Real finished second to Tottenham in their group.

That proved to be costly as Real are now drawn against high flying PSG in a mouth-watering round of 16 clash early next year.

For now, Real will switch their entire focus to the highly anticipated clash against arch rivals Barcelona in a couple of days. Nothing less than a victory will do for Los Blancos, as they need to close the gap with league leaders Barcelona.

But now we understand that there are some major issues within the Real dressing room, as an ugly fight is developing between Ronaldo and young Spanish stars Isco and Asensio.

Ronaldo is not at all happy with Isco as he feels that the midfielder refuses to pass the ball to him during the matches. Asensio is in agreement with Isco, as the two Spaniards feel that the team should be built around them.

Ronaldo though wants the duo to be dropped from the team as he wants to bring back Benzema and Bale back in the starting XI. Isco in particular feels he warrants a start ahead of Bale and Benzema, while Asensio wants to be involved in all matches.

Looks like Zidane has some major issues to resolve in the dressing room!
