The Spanish star midfielder is targeted by various Premier League clubs.
Real Madrid are preparing for the upcoming Champions League final against Liverpool on Saturday. But according to Goal, they are also effectively monitoring the statuses in the transfer market.
The Spanish giants have rejected two offers, amounting to €150 million for their star attacking midfielder Marco Asensio. The stunning news was revealed by the player’s agent himself.
Asensio made 32 La Liga appearances this season, which included 19 starts. The player has also played a pivotal role in this year’s Champions League campaign, where he made 11 appearances.
Asensio signed a new deal with Real Madrid only last year, which ties him to the club till 2023, with a staggering release clause of €700m.
The player’s agent, Horacio Gaggioli, revealed that there is an increasing interest in the Spanish star. Asensio started his football career at Mallorca, before signing for Real Madrid in 2014.
“Madrid have received two offers for Marco Asensio, up to €150m, but the club rejected them,” Horacio revealed during his interview with CADENA Sar.

Asensio has spent two seasons with Real Madrid. On the other two, he was out on loan at Mallorca and Espanyol.
“He has an extraordinary future. They could even raise it (the signing money),” Horacio said.
The agent also hinted that these offers came from top clubs in England. “You can imagine that they come from England because they can afford it without any problems,” he said.
The Spanish player has been linked with a move to England in the past, and hence it doesn’t come as a surprise.
Asensio is in the world cup squad for Spain as they pose their bid for world cup glory. The player made his debut for Spain in 2016, and has since earned 10 international caps.
Asensio has made 52 appearances for Real Madrid this season, and has been one of the few first-team members to have played in all competitions.
