Mumbai Indians can be termed the All-Star team of the Indian Premier League. The team has had a lot of top cricketers turn out for them in the past and are the most successful outfit in the carnival of Indian Cricket.

Players such as Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Ricky Ponting and Lasith Malinga have all donned the navy-blue jersey and fought tooth and nail for the pride of their franchise. Their hard work has resulted in 4 IPL trophies, the most by any side.

Their 4th trophy earlier this year put them above Chennai Super Kings, who have 3 in their kitty. The man of the match in the thrilling final, Jasprit Bumrah, has now sat down and named his all time Mumbai Indians eleven.

In an Interview with MITV, Indian pace sensation picked his best ever Mumbai team. The opening slot is a no brainer with the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma taking charge. Ambati Rayudu at number 3 is a little surprising considering the pedigree of batsmen that have played for the reigning champions. However, Rayudu is no mug with the bat and is a prolific scorer at the tournament.

Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik is the keeper of the side and will bat at the all-important number 4 slot. Brutish allrounders Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard follow suit at number 5 and 6 while Hardik’s older brother Krunal completes the trio of allrounders.

Harbhajan Singh has been chosen as the leading spinner of the side. While magnificent Lasith Malinga has been picked to take charge of the new ball. Malinga’s partner in crime is Australian wicket wrecker Mitchell Johnson with Bumrah himself completing this titan of a team.

Intrestingly, despite having the luxury of 4 foreigners, Bumrah has only picked 3 in his side. This just goes to show the quality of Mumbai Indians and the Indian talents that have gone on to represent them; in the past and present.

Jasprit Bumrah’s all-time MI XI:

Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Ambati Rayudu, Dinesh Karthik (wk); Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya; Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Johnson, Jasprit Bumrah.
