Joao Felix sent crashing to the floor by Sergio Ramos within 5 minutes of the Madrid derby last night in the La Liga match between Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid played Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium to a rather dull match last night. Neither of the two looked threatening and ended the match without scoring. With this, Real hold their position at the top of the table with neighbours Atletico sitting at 3rd.

Sergio Ramos, who has quite the reputation of playing the game a little too hard, sent Felix to the floor with unnecessary force. Despite being lucky to have escaped a booking for his actions, Ramos shrugged the act and gestured to Felix to get back on his feet.

For all the talk about Real Madrid being a broken machine, they find themselves at the top of the Spanish mountain. To top it all, they are yet to be beaten in Spain. Perhaps the situation isn’t as bad as was being exaggerated elsewhere. After all these are just early days.

Zinedine Zidane will hope his side continue their run. Considering their form last season, this is quite the unexpected comeback.
