Juventus in lockdown after 3 players tested positive of coronavirus; the virus has already affected two game-weeks of Serie A.

According to a report by the Forbes, Juventus has stopped all their training sessions and put all their Under-23 players in quarantine as 3 players from Serie C side Pianese tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Juventus announced the decision this evening because the last opponents their youth team played was Pianese, who they defeated 1-0. With the illness spreading in that club, it has affected three players and the team manager.

The Old Lady club has commanded the U-23 players to remain at their own homes until March 8th, but at the same time, the club has informed that none of the U-23 players has shown respiratory ailments yet.

The threat of coronavirus is spreading rapidly across Italy and it has now affected 1,128 people and the death toll near to 29 people. The authorities have stated people should remain indoors and avoid contact with others.

Its widespread has majorly affected the sporting scene in Italy and the rest of Europe too. In the last two game-weeks, several matches have either been postponed or cancelled.

Even the games which were supposed to be indoors have got the scrutiny under the situation. With this, even the Champions League’s schedule would also probably be affected.

Apart from this, there is also a huge threat over the Premier League being cancelled this season. Moreover, similar threats are also posed at the Euro 2020 and Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Now at this critical hour, it is remained to be seen what steps will the FA in Italy will take from hereon. But surely, it will affect the next few game-week of Serie A, if not the whole league.
