CSK was making a comeback to the IPL after two long years a lot was at stake in their opening match against Mumbai Indians. At one point, it looked as if CSK would not be able to chase down the target.
But first it was Dwayne Bravo who smashed an unbelievable knock. Once he got out, the team again looked in trouble. Kedar Jadhav had earlier had a hamstring injury and was not slated to bat. Hhowever, given the stage of the match, Jadhav came in to bat in the last over to hit a couple of boundaries against Mustafizur Rahman to take his team to victory.
However, he was then ruled out of the entire IPL and could not play a match. This was a huge setback for CSK as Jadhav could have been a game changer as the tournament moved forward.
Now, after long time Jadhav has finally come out on Instagram to give an update on his injury. Jadhav wrote, “After the surgery I was reluctant to post my updates but now I realise, you all are, my strength & my motivation which keeps me going forward. I am striving & working hard on my fitness to start playing soon..”
