Kesrick Williams celebration vs India: The West Indian bowler decided to remain quite after dismissing the Indian captain.

During the second T20I of the ongoing West Indies’ tour of India in Thiruvananthapuram, West Indies fast bowler Kesrick Williams eventually got the better of India captain Virat Kohli after he dismissed him.
It all happened on the second delivery of the 14th over when Kohli’s attempt of stepping out to Williams saw him hitting the ball straight to Lendl Simmons at short third-man.
With the bowler bowling a short slower delivery, Kohli tried to guide it between the short third-man and point fielder but ended up giving a simple catch to Simmons.
Coming on the back of a match-winning 23rd T20I half-century, Kohli demoted himself to No. 4 tonight. Coming in to bat in the eighth over, Kohli ended up scoring 19 (17) with the help of a couple of fours.
It is worth mentioning that Kohli and Williams have shared a history in the past. While Williams initiated it with his “notebook celebration” in Jamaica in 2017, Kohli emulated the same celebration after hitting a sublime six in the first T20I in Hyderabad.
It was West Indies captain Kieron Pollard who won the toss and invited India to bat first. While the visitors included wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran in place of Denesh Ramdin, the hosts have fielded the same Playing XI from the first match.
