Kimi Raikkonen’s haiku book had surfaced on social media during the Japan GP weekend, when the press was allowed to get their hands on the book and treat themselves to some Kimi produced haikus.

But the haikus went viral on social media and thus 10,000 extra copies have been made available to the public through Autosport.com.

The book is called ‘Winnow Your Words: Kimi’s Book of Haiku’ and comprises of short haiku poems from Kimi, in his very own style.

Now, the money made from the book sale will be donated to the Grand Prix Trust.

Grand Prix Trust is an NGO that provides an avenue for F1 personnel to fall back on when things necessarily don’t go their way.

“We never expected that Kimi’s Book of Haiku would generate such a buzz. We saw it as a light-hearted but real demonstration of winnowing and an ideal way to engage people about the guiding principles of our initiative.

“We are delighted that thousands of  Formula One fans around the world will now be able to appreciate this book while enjoying Raikkonen’s thoughts. It is also important to Kimi and to PMI that any money raised from this book go to a worthy cause,” said the PMI Vice President Global Partnerships and Events, Riccardo Parino.

Here is where you can order your copy of Kimi’s haiku book- Autosport.com/kimibook.
