KKR vs RR Dream 11 team Prediction: Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for KKR vs RR with TSR helping you form the best Dream 11 team

KKR are down in the dumps, having lost 5 of their last 5 encounters  and would be hoping for a win to boost their chances of making it to the IPL 2019 playoffs. They would take heart from the fact that their last win came against RR and would want to repeat that on Thursday at Kolkata.

Having lost 3 games at home , KKR need to dig deep and find their groove, as even the brilliance Russell hasn’t been able to get them over the line.

RR on the other hand have been chipping away with wins here and there, but still find themselves at the bottom of the table. They will be desperate to get off that spot and a home game against the struggling KKR could just be the right one for them.

Let’s get to business now.

Wicketkeeper for KKR vs RR Dream 11 team

Dinesh Karthik and Sanju Samson go at it for a Dream 11 Fantasy spot and from the looks of it, Sanju Samson gets the nod, largely because of his batting position. DK hasn’t been in great form this year with the bat and could be pushed down the order for the in-form Andre Russell.

Samson has been pushed up the order as Jos Buttler is off to England for the birth of his child. Hence, Samson would be my go-to choice for this game, largely due to his batting position, but also because of his form as compared to Dinesh Karthik.

Bowlers for KKR vs RR Dream 11 team

Jofra Archer would be my first bowler for this game, as amongst the bowlers on display for this game, Archer’s death bowling skills is something that help him and Fantasy managers massively. Archer bowls at least two overs at the death and could run away with a couple of cheap wickets at the death. Get him in for sure.

Shreyas Gopal has been one of the best Indian spinners this season, taking important wickets during the middle phase, and pegging oppositions back with his guile and trickery. With KKR having 5 right handers in the top 7; Gopal’s skills could really come into play and shower you with Fantasy points.

For the final bowling spot, I get in Kuldeep Yadav, who has been off colour in the past few weeks, but a game off should do him good, as he still is India’s best white ball spinner. Kuldeep has enough experience and skill in the bank to run through any opposition, and it is maybe just a matter of time before he runs through an opposition. RR just might be the team for him; have faith in his ability and draft him in.

All-Rounders for KKR vs RR Dream 11 team

Andre Russell’s selection doesn’t need much justification, as on current form, he is the best T20 player on the planet. Whatever be the cost; get him in for sure.

Sunil Narine has been knocking on the door for sometime now, but hasn’t really shot teams down this season; neither with his batting nor with his bowling.

Now, for a game like this, where not a lot of superstars are involved, Narine becomes a big player of massive importance, as his dual role helps Fantasy managers gets two bites at the cherry. 2 overs during the death and the opportunity to face the hard, new ball at the top; do not leave Narine out.

Ben Stokes is my final all-rounder pick for this game. Again, just like Narine, he has threatened to explode this season, but hasn’t quite been able to do that. However, his dual role has still allowed him to rack up 136 Dream 11 points. Again, 2 overs at the death and getting to bat at number 5 in the batting order; Stokes would love to have one big performance under his belt before he leaves the IPL 2019.

Batsmen for KKR vs RR Dream 11 team

Nitish Rana has been the most dependable and consistent KKR batsman this season(after Andre Russell of course). He has admirably led that KKR middle order, setting things up for Andre Russell and even helping him sometimes with the power hitting lower down the order. For the kind of form that he is in, you can’t really afford to leave him out.

Ajinkya Rahane exploded in the last game, scoring a brave 100, a kind of innings that you won’t really relate Rahane with, especially if you just read up on the scorecard. But if you watched him play, you would know that Rahane does possess the talent and the skill to tear apart oppositions in a similar way. On current form, get him in.

Steve Smith has hit form for RR at just the right time. Captaincy bodes well with the Australian and having taken up the burden from Rahane has helped both Smith and Rahane. Now, with Buttler gone, he has settled into his preferred number 3 role, taking up the anchor’s role initially and then changing gears whenever needed. For the kind of solidity that he brings, I get him in.

For the final batting pick of this game, I get in the highly talented Shubman Gill, who has now been moved to that favoured nuber 3 spot, one that was earlier occupied by Robin Uthappa. Uthappa got off to a good start this season, but has fallen off ever since and Gill has been knocking on the door for a long time. Playing at 3 gives Gill the opportunity to take the game by the scruff of the neck.
