Indian veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh and immensely talented KXIP teammate KL Rahul recently indulged in a funny banter on Instagram.

Yuvraj Singh was once the most graceful batsman of his time. His cover drives and the timing in Yuvraj’s shots were magical. The way the balls hit the middle of his bat was a treat for the fans.

However, time flows by and now Yuvraj was seen struggling for runs in the recently concluded IPL. All the same, the new generation start KL Rahul now showed what Yuvi possessed few years back.

Rahul timed the ball perfectly and played drives with breathtaking elegance. He is one of the most talented Indian cricketers. Although he has not been able to cement his place in any of the three formats, he looks very promising. If he can keep himself away from injury, the day is not for when he would be an automatic choice in all the three formats of the game for India.

In the recently concluded IPL Rahul was in sublime touch and ended as one of the highest run scorers. His franchise Kings XI Punjab started on a great note but faded away as the tournament went on.

As it turned out, the team that was once leading the charts could not even qualify for the playoffs. The two players who did the bulk of the scoring for KXIP were Chris Gayle and KL Rahul. Even between the two, KL Rahul was the dominating factor and almost single handedly ensured that the team reached decent totals.

Recently, Rahul uploaded a picture on Instagram in what looks like a cover of a magazine. He captioned the picture, “Can’t think of a caption but I’ll still put it up. SorryNotSorry.”

Yuvi looked in a playful mood as he took a friendly dig at his KXIP team mate. KL Rahul could also not resist but reply to such a funny comment.
