India is currently playing in the Women’s World Cup, in which they have already piled up a couple of impressive wins. They even managed to comprehensively beat Pakistan by 95 runs, as they seem extremely confident of success in this year’s tournament.

The focus then shifted to the Men in Blue, as they took on a below par West Indies in the 4th ODI at Antigua. While India were expected to win the match easily, they came up short as they could not chase down the required 190 runs to win.
In reply to the West Indies, Dhawan, Kohli and Karthik fell cheaply as the West Indian bowlers laid the squeeze on them. Rahane battled on with Dhoni, but neither of them could stay long enough to take their team home.
This is what Kohli had to say in the aftermath of the match.
“Our shot selection wasn’t up to the mark,” said the Indian captain in the post-match presentation, “Losing crucial wickets at crucial stages. You’ve got to keep up the momentum through the game.” Kohli also said that the pitch “felt a bit two-paced.”
“We bowled really well to restrict them to 189,” said Kohli, “Credit to the West Indies bowlers. They created those dot balls that induced those mistakes. The bowlers were on the mark, and the fielders as well. With the bat we faltered and that can happen in this game. We just have to put this behind us and come back fresh for the next game,” said the Indian captain,” he concluded.
And now KRK came up with a tweet of his own,
