Kylian Mbappe: PSG Star asserts 'fake news' on Twitter amidst Real Madrid links

Kylian Mbappe has denied a tweet and called it fake news.

Kylian Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid over the last two years. The World Cup winner signed for PSG in a permanent deal last summer, but his future has been tipped to stay away from Parc Des Princes.

In the Ligue 1 award ceremony, the 20-year-old threw a major hint and iterated that his future could lie elsewhere.

“It (the award) is an important moment for me, a turning point in my career… The moment of having more responsibilities, maybe at PSG, maybe elsewhere,”

“For me, it was the moment to say it… When I say something, I think about it,” he said, reiterating his desire to have more “responsibilities. If it’s at PSG, it’s good, if it’s elsewhere, it will be elsewhere for a new challenge.” said Mbappe.

Even, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel was doubting over the future of Neymar and Mbappe with the reigning French Champions.

“This is football,” Tuchel said at a media conference when asked about the transfer speculation over his two prized assets.

“Many clubs want to transfer many players. But if you ask me, the manager, yes I want them here next season. But if not, we will find solutions.”

There were rumours rumbling about Mbappe’s three vehement demands. It included for the forward to play through the middle in the front line rather than attacking through the right flank. The rest two were – owning the most percentage of image rights at the club and must take all penalties when he is on the pitch.

Those three rumoured demands were tweeted by a Twitter account named ‘Transfer News’.

Reading those three statements, Mbappe took a cheeky dig and denied that news.

Mbappe replied: “Sorry you forgot something, Kylian Mbappé want to play goalkeeper

                                                                           FAKE NEWS

Kylian Mbappe was the second highest scorer in Europe’s top five leagues last season. He found the back of the net on 39 occasions and assisted 17 times from 43 games – a ridiculous achievement for a 20-year-old.

He has a contract until 2023 and any move for the 20-year-old would take more than €200 million currently.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?

Kylian Mbappe looks likely to stay at Paris Saint Germain next season, but a future move to Real Madrid looks coherent. Florentino Perez is an admirer of the young attacker and would make a move to bolster the frontline.
