Kylian Mbappe Transfer News: PSG star makes 'come and get me plea' to Liverpool with huge statement

Kylian Mbappe’s has made a ‘come and get plea’ to Liverpool with a huge statement about the club and Jurgen Klopp.

Kylian Mbappe has sparkled rumours linking him with Liverpool, with a ‘come and get me plea’ in a recent interview. Liverpool are long-term admirers of the French International, who moved to Paris Saint Germain two years ago.

There were rumours rumbling about the personal terms agreement with Liverpool, but the Reds were not able to compete with PSG financially. This forced them to walk away from the deal, which inturn yielded them Mohamed Salah from Roma.

Albeit, Mbappe has sparkled the rumours with a huge statement about Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. When the World Cup winner was asked about the free choice given to select a perfect side in FIFA, he voted for the English side, citing the recent Champions League success.

In an interview with ESPN, Mbappe was asked: “We play one game and we bet, who do you pick?” After a brief pause, he replied: “I play with Liverpool because they win the Champions League.”

Mbappe was then asked if he likes Jurgen Klopp, replying: “Yeah he’s good.”

While this is hardly a confirmation that a move is about to happen, the Frenchman is clearly happy to see his name being linked with a move to the reigning Champions League holders. He has been concretely touted to join Real Madrid, who have been watching his strides over the last few years.

Mbappe had an extraordinary season with the French club by scoring 33 times in 29 Ligue 1 games, becoming the second highest goalscorer in the top five European leagues –  only second to Lionel Messi.

He cost 166 million from Monaco two years ago, and the club will be cautious about his future as many European giants surround him for his services.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?

Kylian Mbappe looks likely to stay at Paris Saint Germain next season, although a potential exit following the culmination of 2019/20 cannot be written off. There will be various suitors for the PSG forward, but only a few would be able to match the asking price of the reigning French Champions.
