Lionel Messi claims Barcelona should not do this to be crowned as the champions of Europe once again in a recent interaction.

Lionel Messi in an exclusive interaction with the Mundo Deportivo talked about Barcelona’s campaigns in La Liga and the Champions League, claims that the club is not doing enough to reach the apex.

He asserted that the team should enhance the performance as a group while asserting that the team is repeating the mistakes and with this level of performances it can’t win the Champions League.

“I think to be more regular in the game, to grab all these new things that we are putting into practice as soon as possible, to be more reliable, not to make silly mistakes that we make and have been committing throughout the year, not to commit what happened to us in Rome or Liverpool,” said Messi

“Where we are leaving the game and it seems that we disconnect and what happens to us happens … Handle all the details because in the Champions League every detail condemns you and we have to try to reach one hundred per cent in everything to try to win,”

Messi further expressed about the nightmares at Liverpool and Rome, where Barcelona faced their worst Champions League exits in two successive seasons.

“The truth is that no, I find no explanation, especially to Liverpool. Rome can happen once and grabs you by surprise, but that it happens again the following year with the result we were carrying and that is more or less similar to what had happened to me is difficult to explain,” he said.
