Liverpool FC News: Reds plan to land La Liga ace to Anfield this summer

Liverpool FC News: Reds plan to land Athletic Bilbao star player Inaki Williams to Anfield this summer as Jurgen Klopp seeks to bolster squad.

Liverpool are aiming to land more reinforcements into the squad as Jurgen Klopp plans to win the highest laurels in the following season.

Even though, the Reds have the most prominent attack in Europe presently, but they lack depth in the squad to conquer over their rivals.

Thus, according to a report by the Daily Post, Liverpool want to land Inaki William from Athletic Bilbao in this summer window, as Klopp believes that the Basque player is a viable addition into the squad.

Considering Daniel Sturridge mostly remains out of action due to his injury concerns and rumours of Xherdan Shaqiri being offloaded from the Anfield, makes William, a required addition in the Liverpool squad.

Additionally, the 24-year-old player hasn’t missed any La Liga game since last three years, showing his impressive fitness level. Further, his exploitative speed makes him a valuable target.

However, recently the player signed a contract extension with Athletic Bilbao until 2025, which would trouble Liverpool while negotiating with the Spanish club.

Thus, it’s further reported that considering the value of Williams in Los Leones, Liverpool are asked to pay £77 million for the 24-year-old striker.

Now, it is remained to see whether Liverpool will meet the demands of the Basque club or will look for other options in the market, in place of Williams.
