Liverpool star wins pre-season fitness test at the age of 33

Liverpool star wins the pre-seasson fitness test against his colleagues at the Liverpool training base, as the new season is about to be unfold.

Jurgen Klopps’ side has to be at their best of fitness to execute his playing style. Therefore, with the season getting started, Liverpool conducted a pre-season test for the players.

According to a report by the Sportsbible, Liverpool’s 33-year-old player has won the pre-season training test, even though much younger players were also competing against him.

Milner is known for his no nonsense style of approach but perhaps the biggest feature to his game is his endurance and overall fitness.

Probably, this shows the reason why he is able to contribute massive work-rates during the match. In times of need Jurgen Klopp has called upon the midfielder to provide both offensively and defensively in recent months and there’s no doubt he will play a big part in the 2019/20 season.

He already played a huge role in the tight race for the Premier league and also in triumph of the Champions league this year. With Milner entering into the final year of his contract with Liverpool, he will be a sure asset in the pursuit of further laurels by the Merseyside club.

Therefore, the Liverpool boss will be delighted that Milner came out on top in the club’ pre-season fitness tests, as he defeated the likes of Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Fabinho, he cruised to the win.

On the other hand, Fans were also delighted to see Milner at the peak of his fitness before the start of the tour. For now, Liverpool will leave for their pre-season in a while.
