Liverpool make an inquiry for 120 million rated European prodigy who is tipped to leave the club this summer.

Liverpool were able to secure the signatures of Alisson Becker, Virgil Van Dijk, Naby Keita, Fabinho, and Xherdan Shaqiri over the last three transfer windows. Despite challenging for the Premier League and Champions League, Jurgen Klopp will not be pleased with his run in the domestic cup competitions.

In order to strengthen their squad, even more, they are looking to add some new faces and push for a silverware. Benfica starlet Joao Felix is currently under the radar, says the reliable French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi. He was the journalist to break the news about the Brazilian International Fabinho who transferred from Monaco to the Reds last summer.

Various Portuguese reports quoted that Benfica turned down a 61 million bid from Liverpool in the January transfer window. Even though none of the English media picked that information, the Reds are set to have not extracted their interest from the 19-year-old who is touted to be the next ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’ by the European media.

Bouhafsi also claimed that the English outfit made an inquiry for Joao Felix whose release clause is reportedly said to be €120 million. Albeit boasting that humungous release clause, Felix could be available for a lesser fee in the summer transfer window.

Joao Felix is a flexible player who has the ability to play anywhere across the frontline. He has made 33 appearances this campaign, scoring 17 and assisting another seven to his name. Even though the board and Jurgen Klopp fancy him for whatever price, they will need to see off interest from Juventus, Manchester City, and Manchester United to secure his signature.

Albeit admiring all the European top five leagues, Felix reiterated that his dream is to play alongside his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

“My future? It will be a decision that we will make with a mutual agreement. I am not sure. Personally, I give the utmost respect to everyone, and I am attracted by the big leagues like the Spanish, English, Italian and French one. All the best Portuguese players went to play to the most important foreign leagues, and, of course, I would like to do it, too.

“My dreams? I have two great dreams. I would like to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo because he is simply the greatest. An idol, a world icon, an example for everyone. Playing with a ‘monster’ like him would allow me to grow even more.” said Felix.
