Liverpool will bid £215m for Kylian Mbappe, could sacrifice star player according to recent reports doing the rounds.
Liverpool are the current European Champions and look set to add the Premier league in their ever-growing trophy collection. They have a solid side that could rival any team from around the world. Ask Barcelona, they’ll tell you.
However, like any team in the world, the side could do with a little strengthening. What better way to bolster your side than to have the best young player in the world right now. Since Liverpool’s victory in the court case against New Balance and their new link up with Nike, fans have made their desire to see Kylian Mbappe in a Liverpool jersey known.
It has now been reported that the dream transfer could very well become a reality. However, the club will have to make a large sacrifice; both in cash and in a player that has been the pivot of the team’s success in the last couple of years.

Spanish Outlet El Desmarque have reported that Liverpool will rival Real Madrid for Mbappe’s signature and will offer Paris Saint-Germain £215 million. Their lack of spending this summer will help them afford what would be a world record transfer fee. The transfer bid will be sent out next summer.
Apart from the huge sum spent on the transfer, Liverpool will also offer an ‘astronomical’ £34 million-a-year as wages to the 21-year-old. However, in order to bring the young French wonder to the Anfield, Liverpool will have to make space for him in the playing XI,
This would be achieved by selling none other than Egyptian target Mohamed Salah. Interestingly, the report states that should Liverpool be successful in landind Mbappe, Real Madrid would then target the discarded Salah.
As far as rumors go though, this seems to be a very ridiculous one. Especially considering much of Liverpool’s current success started with Mohamed Salah. It seems unlikely that he would be replaced just like that. There is also the issue of Mbappe openly stating that playing for Real Madrid has been his dream.
