Man United Transfer News: Zlatan Ibrahimovic speaks on Paul Pogba transfer speculations

Man United Transfer News: Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes a strong claim against Manchester United over Paul Pogba’s transfer saga this summer.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is once again on the headlines, after he makes a statement on his former club Manchester United over Paul Pogba’s transfer saga.

Pogba is speculated to make a move away from the club, but the Red Devils are not ready to lose him, as the French International is a key player to the club, and after a disappointing campaign, the English giants are not willing to deplete the squad further.

In response, former Manchester United striker has opened up in a conversation with the BBC Sport, the former Swedish International opines that the club should let Pogba go.

“I think if [Paul Pogba] wants to leave, it makes no sense to keep him,” said Ibrahimovic. “You let him go and if he wants to be somewhere else, that’s where you let him go. Use the situation and bring in somebody that wants to stay.

“The dressing room is where the players respect each other, they’re professionals, they understand each other’s situations. ”

“Who worries more is the club and the management, because you don’t want a player in your club or in your team that doesn’t want to stay. Because then you know they will not give 100% or 200%, or he does that and he still doesn’t want to stay. So it’s a tricky situation.”

“What is best for the club? That’s what you have to look that.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United have received offers from Real Madrid and Juventus for the services of Pogba, but both the clubs had to backtrack in the end, as the astronomical demands by the Red Devils made the transfer near to impossible.

Considering, the French International’s situation at the club, this could be his last season at the Old Trafford, since he will be left with last year in his contract next summer.
