Man Utd leaked XI vs Leicester City

Man Utd leaked XI vs Leicester City: The side will take on Claude Puel’s Leicester City in the Premier League today.

Manchester United have been brilliant under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The players have stepped up for the former United star, who won his first eight games after being appointed the interim manager.

The side dropped points for the first time in Solskjaer’s charge earlier this week as they drew 2-2 to Burnley.

Manchester United will now take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium where they will aim to secure three points and build pressure on Arsenal, who face Manchester City later tonight.

Manchester Evening News (MEN), meanwhile, have leaked United’s starting XI for the game.

The Premier League match-day is here, and so is Manchester United’s leaked XI. Manchester Evening News reported the leaked XI earlier today, and it saw a major change up front.

While Victor Lindelof and Phil Jones remain in the central defence, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw have also retained their places on the wing.

However, there’s a significant change up-front where Marcus Rashford is back in the central role. Anthony Martial is with the squad but doesn’t make the starting XI, as Alexis Sanchez returns to the side.

Juan Mata and Andreas Pereira have been dropped after their shaky performance against Burnley and are replaced by Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera respectively.

Paul Pogba had been a doubt for the game following an injury against Burnley, but Solskjaer confirmed in the press conference on Friday that he expects the Frenchman to take the field against Leicester.

Here’s the leaked starting XI:

De Gea, Young, Jones, Lindelof, Shaw, Matic, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard, Sanchez and Rashford.

Manchester United are currently sixth in the league and a win will take them to the fifth spot. However, the result from Arsenal’s game against Manchester City would determine their final position at the end of this game-week.
