Sadio Mane replies to James Milner’s hilarious post on forward’s rift between Salah against Burnley
James Milner comes up a hilarious post on Sadio Mane’s heated moment against Burnley.
Following the substitution against Burnley, Sadio Mane was infuriated with Mohamed Salah’s refusal to pass the ball to him. The Senegalese was uncontrollable for a while until vice-captain James Milner sat alongside him to calm situations down.
In the post-match interview, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Reds number 10 was not frustrated for taking him out, but divulged that he was angry with another issue. Watching the replay suggested Mane yelling at his teammate for the Egyptian’s refusal to pass the ball.
Liverpool Skipper Jordan Henderson also said that both the forwards were getting on like before, with zero issues. It was just a heated moment as Jurgen Klopp mentioned Sadio Mane as an ’emotional guy’ in the post-match press conference.
James Milner used the capture when he was having a conversation with Sadio Mane on the bench. The English International posted that on Instagram with a side-splitting caption.
It read: “Maybe I misread this, but I’m pretty sure Sadio was reacting to me not getting brought on. #GetMillyOn #Thanksmate”
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andy Robertson commented, forcing Sadio Mane to do the same.
The forward also commented: “It’s exactly what I have been complaining. @JamesMilnerOfficial”
It’s yet another stress bursting post from James Milner.
On the pitch, Liverpool look the real deal again. The Reds trounced Burnley on Saturday to secure their fourth victory in opening four games of the Premier League. As for the Champions League, they have been drawn along with Napoli, Red Bull Salzburg, and Genk.
