According to Super Deporte, Barcelona have entered the race to sign Bruno Fernandes with the sole intention of sending him on loan to Valencia. The report claims that Valencia would then be willing to part with Rodrigo. The idea reportedly even has the seal of approval from Valencia manager, Albert Celades.
With Suarez out with injury, Barcelona are keen to add to their attacking options. However, they are unwilling to let go off Nelson Semedo, the player that Valencia had originally demanded. This has forced Barcelona to attempt this very complicated transfer that will require huge sums of money and Fernandes’ approval as well.
It does seem a bit odd that Barcelona would pay around £65m just to send the player on loan. However, should the move take place, this will certainly be one of the most bizarre transfers that have ever taken place.
