Man Utd Transfer News: Inter Milan in talks with Manchester United to sign club captain

Man Utd Transfer News: Inter Milan in talks with Manchester United to hire their club captain Ashley Young, the player reportedly ready to join.

Manchester United’s captain Ashley Young has been on the sideline for Manchester United ever since the start of the season. He entered into the team sheets once Luke Shaw got injured later to be replaced by academy player Brandon Williams.

So, it would be better for Manchester United if they offload the English player and bring in new resources to the team over his place. To make it easy for Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan has shown interest in Young amidst the transfer window.

It has been further stated that Antonio Conte has asserted his demand over young in order to accomplish his aim to clinch the Serie A title from the hands of Juventus.

Meanwhile, Young has also shown interest and has rumoured to say ‘yes’ to the offer made by the Nerazurris. If this move reaches its completion, then Young would be the fourth Manchester United player to leave for Italy this season.

Two out of them (Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez) are already playing for Inter Milan after getting a transfer in the last summer transfer window. It has been further stated that even Jesse Lingard is reported to leave for Italy.

Young joined Manchester United from Aston Villa in 2011 and remained one of the trusted lieutenants of the club, being signed by Sir Alex Ferguson, and has made 261 appearances for the Red Devils.

He started life as a winger and has won the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League during his nine years at Old Trafford but soon ended up playing a fullback role after the club had minimal resources at the defence.
