Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United aims to sign Ajax superstar to replace French superstar Paul Pogba who is speculated to leave.

Manchester United need to make reforms in the squad in order to maintain the rise of the team back in the Premier League. Ole Solskjaer’s plans seem to be promising.

However, since long an important player from his squad – Paul Pogba has been speculated to leave the Red Devils and with him entering in the final year of his contract in the new season.

In a recent update by the Spanish publication, the Sport, as per the Sports Witness, Manchester United is considering to sign Donny Van de Beek as the ideal candidate to replace superstar Paul Pogba this summer.

The Dutch midfielder raised to prominence after giving terrific performances in the Champions League 2018/19. Even this season he has been impressive as he amassed 10 goals and 11 assists in the 37 games across all the competitions.

On the other hand, Pogba has attracted interests from Juventus and Real Madrid since long and Manchester United might have to lower their demands considering Pogba is in the final year of his contract.

van de Beek still has two years left on his current contract with Ajax. But given the amount of interest in him, there is a strong likelihood that he might opt to leave, more so considering that a number of stars from Ajax are set to leave this summer.

Hakim Ziyech’s transfer to Chelsea has already been confirmed, while Andre Onana has also confirmed he will be leaving. Therefore, Ajax is set to design a squad overhaul and they might be looking replacements for Van de Beek.

But at the moment, the biggest hurdle in these transfers is the Coronavirus lockdown. So, it remains to be seen how will clubs react to the transfers in the coming month.
