Man Utd transfer news: Manchester United considering £35 million move for Everton star

Man Utd transfer news: Manchester United considering a summer move for £35 million Everton star Idrissa Gueye but doubt the asking price.

Manchester United are ready to find new reinforcements in order to bolster their squad as an underwhelming campaign has compelled them to vie for new targets.

Therefore, several reports indicates that Gueye is being considered by Ole Solskjaer as an ideal replacement for Ander Herrera, who has left the club for PSG on a free transfer.

The Senegalese International has been crucial for the Toffees with his performances ever since he arrived to the Merseyside club in 2016.

Additionally, the 29-year-old midfielder is at its peak of his career and can be a key squad player for any top club in Europe. Thus, making himself a viable target in the market.

Everton values the player at a decent fee and are not willing to negotiate below the offer of £35 million for the Senegalese International.

PSG reportedly offered £30 million for Gueye last summer, but Everton rejected the offer and were assertive with their demands.

It is further reported that the heavy price tag for the Everton midfielder has ward-off the Red Devils from the deal. The club feels that Everton are over-pricing the player who has little re-sale value’ and might opt to pursue other available targets.

Nevertheless, considering the concerns at midfield for Manchester United, the club can be forced to negotiate with Evertn again as the Red Devils require immediate reinforcements for the upcoming season.
