Man Utd Transfer News: Red Devils look to add 3 more players after Wan-Bissaka as Solskjaer aims to overhaul his side this summer.
Manchester United have so far made two signings this summer. They have bought Daniel James from Swansea for £18 million. Crystal Palace right back is on his way to Old Trafford pending a medical. The sensational youngster cost them £50 million. However, United are far from done in the ongoing transfer season.
The Manchester Evening News have reported that Manchester United are looking for 3 more acquisitions this summer. The Red Devils are in the market for Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff, Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes and a centre-back.
They have reported that the club’s strategy is about ‘getting the right players rather than any player’. United concede the market inflation has provided an obstacle but figures are ‘working calmly’ to strengthen the squad.
Ed Woodward, the executive vice-chairman of Manchester United F.C, has placed the responsibility of negotiating deals on to head of corporate development, Matt Judge.
Last season Manchester United finished 6th in the premier league. A result that means, United will play in the Europa League once again this season. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to want to overhaul his side this summer and will look forward to the signings.
United have already parted ways with Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera. They are reportedly looking to discard Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo too. United are also open to selling Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez for the right price.
However, Solskjaer is understood to want Paul Pogba to remain with the Club. United are also looking to retain David de Gea amidst interest from PSG as the Spanish Goalkeeper enters his final year of his contract.
The transfer season will last until August 8 and United will start their campaign against Chelsea on Sunday, August 11 at Old Trafford.
