In what is surely one of the most shocking transfer rumours lately, we hear PSG are looking to offer Kylian Mbappe and a large sum to cash to Barcelona in exchange for Philippe Coutinho!

Yes, you read that right!

Apparently this all stems from Neymar, as the Brazilian superstar has started getting insecure about Mbappe’s ability and growing influence in the PSG side. Neymar made his record breaking move to PSG to become nothing less than the king pin at the Parisian club.

Neymar has had a superb season thus far with PSG, scoring 29 and assisting 17 in 29 appearances so far. But there have already been rumours of discontent emanating out of the Neymar camp, as some people feel that the Brazilian is not yet getting the sort of treatment that he was promised when he first arrived at the club.

At the beginning of the season, Neymar had a public falling out with Cavani over penalty duties, as the pair had an on field altercation which caught plenty of press.

While that was solved then and there, the fans have at times turned their back on the superstar, which has only infuriated the Brazilian.

Now we hear that PSG are ready to bring Coutinho, one of Neymar’s closest friends, to Paris in a bid to keep their number ten happy. Real Madrid have already stated their campaign to bring the Brazilian to the Bernabeu, and PSG know that they need to take some drastic steps to prevent that from happening.

PSG are ready to offer Mbappe and cash to Barcelona, in exchange for Coutinho. Seeing that Coutinho just moved to the club in January, it seems highly unlikely that Barcelona will ever agree to such a move.

The addition of Mbappe though is an enticing one, as the nineteen year old has already shown us glimpses of his extraordinary potential. Mbappe himself is having a fine season at the club, and will surely act as a wonderful post-Messi option for Barcelona.

Add in a whole load of cash and suddenly the deal does not look at that bad does it?!
