Juventus told hold talks with Manchester United for several players, including Mario Mandzukic, according to Calciomercato.
The representatives of Juventus and Manchester United may meet to discuss the future of several of their players. According to Calciomercato, both the clubs will be considering potential transfers, in and out. The clubs are also on good terms with each other, having worked out the Paul Pogba deal in 2016.
Manchester United, according to Calciomercato, will be in talks with Juventus for move for Mario Mandzukic. The Croatian is currently at the world cup, and played in their first game of Group D against Nigeria. However, Mandzukic had a struggling season with Juventus, as he could only score 10 goals in 2017-18 for the club.
The Italian outlet also claims that Manchester United will be in for Sami Khedira.
Juventus, on the other hand, will discuss the negotiations for Matteo Darmian. Both the clubs will rep ortedly come to a mutual agreement over the defender’s fee. While Juventus’ offer is at 13 million euros, Manchester United values the defender at 20 million euros.
Matteo Darmian largely spent the last season on the bench as Ashley Young continued to be the first-choice left back for Manchester United for the season. Darmian went down further in the pecking order after Luke Shaw’s return to the side.
It is also claimed that Anthony Martial will be enquired about by Juventus’ representatives in the meeting after his agent confirmed earlier this week that the player wants to leave the club.
Martial’s place in the Manchester United’s starting XI was taken by Alexis Sanchez, after the Chilean signed for the club in the January transfer window.
However, it was reported later that Manchester United wants to keep Anthony Martial at the club.
Calciomercato claims that both the clubs will be highly active in the summer transfer window.
