Gareth Bale expressed his disappointment on restricted game time after the Champions League final in May.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid last week in the most shocking transfer of the summer so far. The Portuguese winger joined Juventus on a 100m deal, after being at Real Madrid since 2009. As Ronaldo seemingly hinted at his transfer after the Champions League final against Liverpool, another Real Madrid star voiced his concerns over lack of game time.

Gareth Bale was visibly disappointed even after he scored the match-winning brace in the final against Liverpool, as he talked about wanting to play more for the club. He even talked about having talks with the club, and will be reportedly holding a meet with Real Madrid’s new manager, Julen Lopetegui over his future over the next week.

In the midst of this, MEN reports that Manchester United are in “advanced talks” with the Real Madrid forward over a potential transfer. Jose Mourinho is said to be interested in the player, and wants to sign him.

Even though it was earlier speculated that Real Madrid would keep hold of Gareth Bale after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the recent reports regarding the club’s pursual of players like Neymar, Mbappe and Eden Hazard lead the fans to think otherwise.

MEN also reports that Gareth Bale will take the final call on his transfer. Real Madrid is yet to officially quote a price for the Welsh winger.

It was also reported earlier that Manchester United was given a chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Premier League club denied the offer. Ronaldo also reportedly rejected a 200m offer from an unnamed Chinese Super League club to join Juventus.
