TheSportsRush brings Manchester United team news vs Chelsea as Mourinho’s side aims to bring its campaign back on track.

Manchester United will return to Premier League with a mouthwatering clash against Chelsea. Maurizio Sarri’s side is currently 2nd in the league and are yet to concede a defeat this season.

United, meanwhile, have had a difficult time on and off the pitch ever since the beginning of the new season. Jose Mourinho’s side is currently 8th in the Premier League with only 13 points from their first eight matches.

As Manchester United faces Chelsea, Mourinho would aim to bring United’s campaign back on track. The Portuguese manager provided the team news for the high-profile league fixture between the two sides.

Jose Mourinho is yet to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as manager of Manchester United. He would aim to end the winless streak today.

Manchester United team news vs Chelsea:

Jose Mourinho revealed that Ander Herrera might be back for the game against Chelsea. The Spanish midfielder last featured in United’s win against Burnley in August. Ander Herrera performed impressively in man-marking Eden Hazard during the clash between the two sides at Old Trafford in the 16/17 season.

However, United can face an injury crisis as their three star players, Nemanja Matic, Marouane Fellaini and Luke Shaw are feared injured. Luke Shaw pulled out of England’s squad during the international break.

Jesse Lingard and Marcos Rojo have been absentees for over a month, but it is likely that the Argentine might come back to the squad. Diogo Dalot was substituted in the 49th minute for Portugal U21s’ match during the international break with injury, while Scott McTominay didn’t feature for Scotland with an injury-scare.

According to recent reports, Alexis Sanchez has not traveled with the United squad to London as well.
