Manchester United Transfer News: Red Devils launch £50 million bid for Premier league defender

Manchester United Transfer News: Red Devils launch £50 million bid for Ole Solskjaer’s target and Premier league defender.

Manchester United were reportedly targeting Aaron Wan Bissaka from Crystal Palace as they need defensive reinforcements ahead of the upcoming season.

Thus, according to a report published by the Skysports, Manchester United have formally submitted a bid of £50 million to hire the services of Wan Bissaka.

The English defender enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Premier league as his defensive prowess on the right-side of defense aroused various interest across several clubs.

Manchester United desperately need reinforcements at the right back position, as they lack resources over there and had to deploy Ashley Young last season, which affected several results for Manchester United.

Thus, Wan Bissaka seems a viable option at the right side of the defense, as Ole Solskjaer is looking for suitable signings to bolster his squad amid major squad overhaul.

However, it was also reported that Crystal Palace are demanding more for the 21-year-old player, and they are in no pressure to sell the player this summer window.

Therefore, it seems that the Red Devils have to upgrade their offer in order to tie a deal with the Eagles. Although, Wan Bissaka is the top target for Solskjaer this summer.

Nevertheless, it is still remained to be seen, whether Manchester United will further extend their offer to Crystal Palace or will look at other prospects this summer.
