The huge clash between Liverpool and Manchester City was expected to be a mouth watering contest, as this was a clash between two of the most exciting sides in the premier league.

Chamberlain gave Liverpool the lead, as the Ox smashed the home side in front. City hit back though, as Leroy Sane lashed in the equalizer for Guardiola’s side before the half-time interval.

Both goals had the goal keepers at fault, as the sides were locked 1-1 heading into the second half.

Roberto Firmino then restored Liverpool’s lead, as he scored with an audacious chip over Ederson. One minute later, Sadio Mane had a wonderful chance for Liverpool, as he cut in from the left but unfortunately hit the outside of the post.

But the Senegalese did not have to worry, as he launched a fierce left footed shot that beat Ederson at the near post, as Anfield erupted in delight.

Jurgen Klopp was ecstatic on the touchline as he knew that his team was on the cusp of handing Manchester City their first defeat in the premier league this season.

But Liverpool were not done yet, as Mo Salah latched on a mistake by Ederson and chipped the Man City goal keeper from around 30 yards out.

Ederson came out and tried to clear the ball, but for unfortunately for him the ball landed at the feet of one of the hottest players in the league this season.

Salah still had a lot to do, as he was quite far off the goal. But the red hot Egyptian had the skill and composure to keep his mind, and lob the ball over the despairing Ederson.

Pep was stunned, as the Spanish manager was at a loss to explain his side’s capitulation.
