Matteo Guendouzi in London ahead of his move to Arsenal
The French youngster is expected to complete his move to Arsenal today.
Arsenal have been quite active in the transfer market, with three signings already made this summer. The Gunners have completed the transfers of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Besides, Arsenal are also close to complete a move for Uruguayan star Lucas Torreira, who is reportedly set to have a medical with the club.
Sky yesterday reported that Arsenal are in talks with Lorient to complete a move for Matteo Guendouzi. By the evening, the rumours grew stronger, with David Ornstein of BBC posting the details about his proposed medical for Arsenal.
Today, on his Instagram, Guendouzi posted a picture which confirmed his transfer to the North London club.

The French youngster joined Lorient in 2016 and has since played 26 league games for the club. He currently plays for the French U20 side.
The French youngster is set to have his medical on Monday. BBC also reports that Lucas Torreira, the Uruguayan midfielder will join Guendouzi for the medical, as the player returns from the national duty at the World Cup to complete his move to Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Unai Emery has begun the training session at Arsenal this week, and is keen on wrapping up the deals to prepare for the new season. The North London club will have a blockbuster start to their Premier League season, as they face the defending champions Manchester City.
