Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo have shared a good partnership at Red Bull, having their differences but never letting their on field battles affect their off field relationship, one that has been of pure mutual respect.
Daniel Ricciardo will be moving to Renault next season, after announcing post the summer break that he wouldn’t be continuing with Red Bull next season.
Ricciardo did not have a lot of choices to himself as Mercedes and Ferrari had almost confirmed their lineups, and thus he had to take a setback and move to a midfield team.
The Australian hasn’t really enjoyed a good season with Red Bull, as his season has been marred by DNFs, largely due to engine issues but also due to issues with Red Bull.
He has often voiced his concern over the same, even venting out his frustration in the last few weeks, especially after the Mexican GP, wherein he had to retire from P2 during the dying stages of the grand prix.
Max and Daniel had formed a very lovable partnership in the past few seasons and Max would definitely miss him(at least that is what his Instagram post suggests).
“Daniel, it was great having you as a teammate on and off the track. I’ll see you soon, let the good times roll” Verstappen tweeted.
