The Mercedes social media team has been head and shoulders above the others, as they have lit up race weekends and ‘barren F1 ‘ days as well.
Never have they missed out on an opportunity to troll fellow teams and try and indulge in some of the best banter with fans and teams alike.
With Racing Point Force India undergoing a name change before the 2019 season, by dropping ‘Force India’, fans have been rather confused about what the team will be called next season.
The Force India team principal has confirmed that the name ‘Racing Point’ is just a placeholder right now and that the team will come up with a new name before 2019.
Force India’s new Racing Point name is only a temporary “place holder” for the #F1 entry list and will change again before the 2019 season:https://t.co/3ubZ91Nq7P

Fans have been suggesting a few names to the team, but they have made it clear that they no longer are accepting any suggestions.
For the last time, we’re NOT going for Teamy McTeamyFace. https://t.co/CLXRHoIAJo

The Mercedes team wanted to send out Christmas cards and took a brutal dig at Force India, as they did not know who to address the cards too.
“Force India, so, we’re trying to write Christmas cards but we’ve hit a snag… What do we call you these days?” Mercedes tweeted.
“Dear That Pink Team Down the Road’ doesn’t seem quite formal enough!” he added.
@ForceIndiaF1 So, we’re trying to write Christmas cards but we’ve hit a snag…
What do we call you these days? 🤔
