Messi dribbling vs Real Betis: The Argentine superstar made a solid return to football, even when Barcelona went down to Real Betis last night.
Barcelona suffered a shock 4-3 defeat to Real Betis in La Liga yesterday. Ernesto Valverde’s side, however, is still at the top of the table, with a point ahead of the second-placed Sevilla.
Lionel Messi made a return to football last night as well. The Argentine footballer suffered an arm injury against Sevilla two weeks ago, but made a quick recovery.
The Barcelona forward scored two goals on his comeback, including a penalty. However, Barca leaked goals in the later stages of the game, which didn’t allow Valverde’s side to take a lead in the game.
Messi, however, was in form as he returned to the game, and produced a moment of brilliance during the first half.
Messi dribbling vs Real Betis:
The Barcelona forward played like he was never away from football, as he went past three defenders in a matter of seconds early in the first half. It might not have reaped a reward for Barcelona, but it certainly made the fans gasp and the fans on social media didn’t fail to applaud Messi’s genius.
Here’s the video of Messi’s dribbling:

The fans, understandably, were in awe of the Argentine star.
It’s incredible how Messi made it look like he’s never been away. That’s always the case when he returns from injury. He created so many chances and his dribbling yet again was phenomenal. It’s so harsh on him that his first game back ended in defeat.
