Mesut Ozil provided a stunning backheel assist to forward Alexandre Lacazette in Arsenal’s Dubai friendly against Al Nasr.

Arsenal stars are currently in Dubai as they take part in warm weather training sessions.

The side also took part in a friendly against Al Nasr. Unai Emery’s men registered a 3-2 victory in the game, as Jenkinson, Lacazette and John-Jules were on target for the visitors.

Arsenal conceded a shock lead in the 14th minute of the game, but made an emphatic comeback in the game.

Mesut Ozil was on the top of his game as he provided a brilliant backheel assist to French striker Alexandre Lacazette to help the side take a lead in the game.

Mesut Ozil backheel assist:

Arsenal scored the first goal of the match through Carl Jenkinson in the 42nd minute of the game.

The side resumed with the attacking gameplay in the second half of the match and was soon rewarded with the goal.

Mesut Ozil noticed Alexandre Lacazette taking a run and provided a brilliant backheel. The Frenchman didn’t make a mistake as he gave the side a lead in the game.

Mesut Ozil has had an inconsistent season so far. After being in the starting XI in the initial few months of the season, Ozil lost his place in the team.

His absence in the game led to speculations surrounding his future at the club, with various outlets suggesting that he might leave Arsenal in the summer.

However, it was reported in the winter transfer window that Ozil intends to fight for a place in the team. The former German international started the game against Manchester United earlier this month and played a key role in the side’s 2-0 victory, which took Arsenal to the fourth place in the Premier League.
