Mesut Ozil twitter Q and A: Arsenal star midfielder Mesut Ozil selects his favourite youth player at Arsenal.

Arsenal are in top-form at the moment. The club is currently 4th in the Premier League, with 21 points from 9 games. After losing their first two games of the season, Arsenal are yet to drop points in the league.

Unai Emery’s side is level on points with Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea and city-rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal will aim for their 11th consecutive victory across all competitions tonight as they take on Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.

Mesut Ozil starred for Arsenal in their game against Leicester on Monday night. The former German international scored a goal and assisted another, as Arsenal emerged 3-1 winners after trailing against the Foxes. Yesterday, Ozil interacted with fans on Twitter, where he answered various questions.

Mesut Ozil Twitter Q and A:

Mesut Ozil revealed his favorite young footballer at Arsenal squad during the #AskMesut Q and A on the social media site. A fan had earlier asked him, “In your opinion, who is the best young talent in the squad atm? #AskMesut”

Mesut Ozil replied, “Mattéo Guendouzi! Brilliant player!”

The French youngster joined Arsenal earlier this season, and Unai Emery started the 19 year-old in Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Manchester City. Guendouzi has since featured in 7 Premier League games, 2 Europa League matches and the knock-out fixture against Brentford in the Carabao Cup.

Mesut Ozil also spoke on his former club Real Madrid’s situation in the current season. Real Madrid are currently 7th in La Liga and have scored only 14 points in their first 9 matches. However, the Arsenal midfielder is positive of Real Madrid making a strong comeback.

“Tough situation at the moment, but I’m sure they will be back on top soon!” said Ozil.

What next?

Mesut Ozil will most likely be starting the game against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League tonight. Arsenal have never won a UEFA game in Portugal, and Unai Emery side will aim to put an end to the club’s dismal run in the country.

Arsenal will return to the Premier League with a trip to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
