MI vs CSK Man of the Match

MI vs CSK Man of the Match: Mumbai Indians all-rounder was awarded the Man of the Match award for his all-round heroics vs CSK.

During the 15th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Mumbai, Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 37 runs to register their second IPL 2019 victory.

Chasing a 171-run target, Super Kings put on display a mediocre performance to score 133-8 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Right from losing their first wicket in the first over, CSK were found wanting throughout the chase.

After CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and put the hosts in to bat, Mumbai posted 170-5 in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav, who came in to bat at No. 3, top-scored for his team as he scored 59 (43) with the help of eight fours and a six.

Him and fellow all-rounder Kieron Pollard scoring 29 runs in the last over bowled by Dwayne Bravo pretty much changed the game for the hosts. In the second innings, Hardik Pandya registered bowling figures of 4-0-20-3 to be the pick of the bowlers for his team.

With him dismissing Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (12), all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (1) and pacer Deepak Chahar (7), he contributed significantly in the second innings as well.
