Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will face-off at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium to try and claim the IPL title for the fourth time. Whoever wins this match will become the most successful IPL franchise of all time.
CSK and MI have played each other in the IPL final 3 times earlier. MI have managed to beat CSK twice in these 3 encounters. CSK will look to get even and make it 2 wins out of 4 finals.
The IPL final promises to be a thrilling encounter with MI being favourites since they have managed to get the better of CSK 3 times this year. However, never ever count CSK out as they have this knack of coming out of nowhere and winning big matches.

Mumbai Indians have four wins out of the last five matches. They are looking very threatening currently and are firing with the bat, ball and on the field. They are probably playing their best cricket on this IPL and would fancy their chances of winning a record fourth title.

CSK, under MS Dhoni, have always been one of the favourites for lifting the IPL trophy again. They have won just 2 of their last 5 matches but the defending champions would love to win another IPL and regain the title of being the most successful IPL team ever.
Dhoni has the ability to handle pressure in big matches. Their batting is looking decent but their bowling will be their strength yet again. Expect Tahir & Co. to wreak havoc yet again.
TEAM CHANGES
Mumbai Indians would refrain from making many changes for the big final. They have a well-settled unit and would expect them to fire again. Having said that, Jayant Yadav might miss out since the Hyderabad pitch is not as spinner friendly as the Chepauk. Mitchell McClenaghan might come in to boost the pace attack.
Chennai Super Kings do not believe in making many changes and they should stick to their XI for the bog match and trust their experienced match-winners. Expect Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis to make a big impact once more.
PITCH AND WEATHER PREDICTION
The Hyderabad pitch would play in a similar fashion. It has been a little tricky. There has been some help for the bowlers but the batsmen have been able to hit the ball long as well. The CSK spinners might determine the outcome of this match with their miserly bowling. The batsmen will have to apply themselves if they want to score some big runs.
It will be a hot but clear night at Hyderabad. The temperature will remain around 31°C throughout the match. Dew might play a role as well so the toss becomes very important. Humidity will only be around 38% with no chance of any rainfall.
TOSS PREDICTION
The team winning the toss will surely look to bowl first owing to the dew factor as that might just probe to be the difference between the 2 teams.
